Marketing Strategy: Lizard island is one of the premier resorts on the Great Barrier Reef of Australia. This direct mail piece was part of a campaign to emphasize both the tropical, almost Tahiti feel of the resort, along with the blend of both rainforest attractions and all the Great Barrier Reef has to offer. One of the main features of this region of Australia is the ability to have a premier resort in complete solitude. After the direct mail campaign finished, the resort sold all available rooms during season.
